Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel in a full-time capacity, the accomplished attorney will lead complex insurance defense trials, manage case strategies, and provide client advisement while working in a flexible environment that supports remote, hybrid, or onsite arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Complex Trials: Represent clients in high-exposure insurance defense cases, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death
• Case Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive case strategies and trial preparations
• Client Advisement: Collaborate with clients and insurance carriers to provide legal advice and case updates

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California and eligibility for federal court practice
• 8+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation with a focus on complex trials
• Demonstrated success as lead trial counsel in high-stakes cases
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, tort law, and trial strategies
