California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time remote attorney will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while developing compelling case themes and providing leadership to junior attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Develop a compelling case theme to counteract plaintiff strategies
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved school
• Active bar license in California
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities with minimal supervision
