California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while cultivating client relationships and providing leadership to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle all facets of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation
• Lead and mentor less experienced attorneys while maintaining routine client communications

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Active bar license in California
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
• Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite
