California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while providing leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trial preparation
• Cultivate client relationships and provide direction to less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved school
• Active California bar license
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
• Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
