California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while developing compelling case themes and providing leadership to less experienced attorneys in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys while maintaining routine client communications

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Active California bar license
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in deposition and trial preparation
• Experience in managing full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
• Preferred experience in insurance defense matters
