Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel in Complex Trial, this full-time position will manage high-exposure insurance defense cases, develop case strategies, and provide client advisement, with flexible work arrangements available.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Complex Trials: Represent clients in high-exposure and complex insurance defense cases
• Case Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute case strategies, including risk assessment and trial preparation
• Client Advisement: Provide clear legal advice and updates on case developments to clients and insurance carriers

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California and eligibility for federal courts
• 8+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation with a focus on complex trial work
• Demonstrated success as lead trial counsel in high-stakes cases
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, tort law, and trial strategies
