California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys and developing compelling case themes in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved school
• Active bar license in the State of California
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, especially in trial preparation
• Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
• Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities with minimal supervision
