California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual healthcare practice, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts and partnerships, including payor agreements and vendor contracts, while working remotely and collaborating with various internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements across various sectors, ensuring compliance and risk management
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract structures and healthcare partnership agreements, facilitating smooth negotiations and implementations
• Maintain and improve contract management processes, including templates and workflows, to enhance operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar (California bar preferred)
• 8+ years of legal experience focused on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
• Meaningful healthcare legal experience with providers, digital health companies, or healthcare-focused law firms
• Experience in both law firm and in-house legal department settings
• Substantial experience in at least three types of agreements, including payor, vendor, and marketing agreements
