Job Summary
Providing strategic legal advice on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will collaborate with HR and leadership, manage legal risks, and oversee compliance projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents and provide expert legal guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage comprehensive legal research, synthesizing findings to inform business strategy and decisions
- Develop and implement legal strategies, advising on critical legal matters and collaborating with stakeholders on regulatory actions
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
