Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys and cultivating client relationships in a flexible work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
- Independently manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation
- Provide mentorship and direction to less experienced attorneys
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved school
- Active California bar license
- 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
- Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
