Job Summary
Providing expert legal guidance on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will advise KP leadership and HR on compliance, manage legal risks, and oversee the development of HR policies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while providing actionable guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage extensive legal research, synthesizing findings to inform business strategies and decisions
- Assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, collaborating with stakeholders and overseeing junior attorneys
Required qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
