Job Summary
Providing strategic legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will advise leadership on compliance projects, collaborate on cross-functional legal matters, and develop training for HR professionals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents and provide actionable guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage legal research, synthesizing findings to inform business strategies and decisions
- Assess legal risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, collaborating with stakeholders and overseeing junior attorneys
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
