California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will advise KP leadership and HR on compliance, manage legal risks, and develop training programs, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft and review complex legal documents and provide actionable guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage in-depth legal research and communicate findings to senior stakeholders to inform strategic decisions
- Lead legal strategies and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and advance organizational goals
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- At least ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
