California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Providing legal expertise in employment law, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will advise KP leadership on complex employment issues, collaborate on cross-functional legal matters, and manage legal risks while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work product of others
- Conduct and manage legal research, synthesizing findings to inform business strategy and decisions
- Assess legal risks and provide strategic guidance to senior stakeholders, managing outside counsel as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
