California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will advise KP leadership and HR on compliance, manage legal risks, and oversee the development of HR policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex legal documents and provide actionable guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze case law to inform business strategies and decisions
- Assess legal risks and develop innovative solutions while managing outside counsel and guiding junior attorneys
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any State where KP does business
