California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing legal practice, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys and cultivating client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
- Manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial preparation
- Lead and mentor less experienced attorneys while maintaining routine client communications
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school
- Active bar license in the State of California
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
