Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will advise KP leadership and HR on compliance, manage legal risks, and collaborate on cross-functional legal matters in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work of other legal professionals
- Conduct and manage intricate legal research, synthesizing findings to inform business strategies and decisions
- Develop and implement legal strategies to address significant issues, collaborating with stakeholders and overseeing junior attorneys
Required qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
