Job Summary
Providing strategic legal advice on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will collaborate with HR and leadership, oversee legal research and risk assessment, and manage legal strategies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work product of junior legal professionals
- Conduct and manage legal research and analysis to inform business strategies and critical decisions
- Assess legal risks and provide expert guidance on employment-related matters, collaborating with stakeholders and managing outside counsel
Required qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
