California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel in Labor and Employment will advise KP leadership on complex employment law issues, collaborate on cross-functional legal matters, and manage legal risks associated with grievances and regulatory compliance in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work of junior legal professionals
- Conduct and manage intricate legal research and analysis to inform business strategy and decisions
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and guide senior stakeholders on compliance and regulatory matters
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
