California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will advise KP leadership and HR on compliance, manage legal risks, and oversee the creation and negotiation of legal documents in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work of junior legal professionals
- Conduct and manage intricate legal research, synthesizing findings to inform business strategy and decisions
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and address regulatory challenges, collaborating with senior stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
