Job Summary
Providing expert legal advice on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will collaborate with KP leadership and Human Resources, manage legal risks, and oversee the development of HR policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents and provide actionable legal guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage legal research on employment law, synthesizing findings to inform business strategies and decisions
- Lead legal strategies and collaborate with stakeholders to address regulatory actions and mitigate legal risks
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP does business
