Job Summary
Providing strategic legal advice on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will collaborate with HR and leadership, manage legal risks, and oversee compliance projects in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex legal documents, providing expert guidance to clients and legal teams
- Conduct in-depth legal research and synthesize findings to inform business strategies and decisions
- Assess legal risks and implement strategies to mitigate them while advising senior stakeholders on critical legal matters
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
