Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel in General Liability Insurance Defense on a full-time basis, who will independently manage high-exposure cases, develop strategic defense themes, and mentor junior attorneys while collaborating with clients and colleagues in a flexible work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff arguments
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys while maintaining routine communications with clients
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in the State of California
- 8+ years of litigation experience in general liability insurance defense and insurance coverage matters
- Proven ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Strong experience handling insurance defense cases, particularly general liability and coverage issues
