California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Providing strategic legal advice on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will collaborate with HR and leadership, manage legal risks, and oversee compliance projects in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents and provide expert legal guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and synthesize legal research on case law and regulatory authority to inform business strategy and decisions
- Develop and manage legal strategies for significant issues while advising stakeholders on regulatory risks and compliance
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP does business
