California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Providing strategic legal advice on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will collaborate with HR and leadership to manage legal risks, oversee compliance projects, and develop training while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents and provide expert legal guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage detailed legal research, analyzing case law and regulatory authority to inform business strategies
- Develop and implement legal strategies for addressing complex issues, collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and guide regulatory responses
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
