Job Summary
Providing strategic legal advice on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will collaborate with HR and leadership, manage legal risks, and oversee compliance projects in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work of junior legal professionals
- Conduct and manage legal research to analyze case law and regulatory authority impacting the organization
- Formulate legal strategies and provide guidance on critical business matters, collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
