Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will independently manage high-exposure general liability cases and insurance coverage matters, providing mentorship to junior attorneys and developing strategic case themes.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case strategies that counter plaintiff arguments
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys while maintaining client communications
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in the State of California
- 8+ years of litigation experience in general liability insurance defense and insurance coverage matters
- Proven ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Strong experience handling insurance defense cases, particularly general liability and coverage issues
