Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Employment Counsel will advise KP leadership, manage legal risks, and collaborate with HR on compliance projects remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work product of junior legal professionals
- Conduct and manage intricate legal research, synthesizing findings to inform business strategies and decisions
- Develop and implement legal strategies, guiding senior stakeholders on critical legal matters and regulatory actions
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent legal degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
