California Licensed Senior Employment Counsel
Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Employment Counsel will advise KP leadership and HR on compliance projects, manage legal risks, and oversee the creation and negotiation of legal documents in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while providing expert guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage legal research to inform business strategy and critical decisions regarding employment law
- Develop and implement legal strategies to address complex legal issues and collaborate with stakeholders on regulatory matters
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
