Providing expert legal counsel, the full-time California Licensed Senior Employment Counsel will advise leadership on complex employment law issues, collaborate on cross-functional legal matters, and guide regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex legal documents, offering actionable guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage intricate legal research, synthesizing findings to inform business strategies and decisions
- Assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, collaborating with senior stakeholders and managing outside counsel
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
