Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Employment Counsel will advise KP leadership, collaborate on cross-functional legal matters, and manage legal risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work of junior legal professionals
- Conduct and manage legal research, synthesizing findings to inform strategic business decisions
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and support organizational goals in collaboration with senior stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
