Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Employment Counsel will advise leadership on compliance projects, manage legal risks, and collaborate with HR to develop training and policies, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work of junior legal professionals
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to inform business strategy and critical decisions
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and advance organizational goals
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
