Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel, the full-time California Licensed Senior Employment Counsel will advise KP leadership on complex employment law issues, collaborate on cross-functional legal matters, and oversee compliance projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing complex legal documents and providing actionable legal guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conducting in-depth legal research and synthesizing findings to inform business strategies and decisions
- Managing legal risks and developing innovative solutions while collaborating with stakeholders and overseeing junior attorneys
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
