Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Employment Counsel will advise KP leadership and HR on compliance, manage legal risks, and develop training programs, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents and provide actionable legal guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct in-depth legal research and synthesize findings to inform strategic business decisions
- Assess legal risks and develop innovative solutions while overseeing junior attorneys and managing outside counsel
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP operates
