California Licensed Senior Engineer

Job Summary

Building out the next generation practice management platform, the full-time California Licensed Senior Engineer will collaborate with the Product team to understand customer needs, write clean and efficient code, and utilize expertise in Ruby on Rails to roll out features and service improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product team to troubleshoot problems and define upcoming features
• Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-tested code to improve the code base
• Utilize AI/ML to build and maintain features, refining input prompts for better output from Large Language Models

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 6 years of full life cycle development experience with Ruby on Rails (or 4 years with a Master's)
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework, such as Ember.js or React.js
• Understanding of web application security and best practices
• Experience with production environments and troubleshooting problems
