Job Summary
Representing a full-time remote position, the California Licensed Senior Epidemiologist will investigate and analyze health statistics, prepare reports, and provide education and training to team members while coordinating with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans, conducts, and evaluates epidemiological studies and prepares reports on findings
- Supports program and policy planning by serving as an epidemiological content specialist
- Conducts complex data analyses and interprets findings related to public health issues
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health with a specialization in epidemiology
- Three years of qualifying epidemiology experience, preferably in mental health or substance use disorders
- Experience with statistical software such as R and SAS, and advanced statistical techniques
- Ability to analyze electronic medical records and population health data
- Experience in leading behavioral health program evaluations and conducting outreach initiatives
