Job Summary
Providing advanced support to Escrow Officers, the full-time California Licensed Senior Escrow Assistant will manage complex residential real estate transactions from opening through closing, ensuring exceptional customer service while mentoring team members, with the option to work remotely or from the Montclair office.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate, process, close, and disburse various escrow transactions, ensuring compliance with California escrow requirements
- Review title commitments and preliminary reports, resolving issues to facilitate timely and accurate closings
- Prepare and audit escrow files and closing documents, maintaining organized electronic transaction files
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of senior-level escrow assistant experience or 2+ years as an Escrow Officer managing an escrow desk
- Demonstrated experience in drawing and auditing escrow files with thorough knowledge of California escrow transactions
- Advanced understanding of residential escrow transactions and closing documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
