Job Summary

To support event operations in San Francisco, the full-time California Licensed Senior Event Manager will prepare event documentation, coordinate with sales and property departments, and ensure high-level service throughout all phases of complex events.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage customer experiences from pre-event through post-event phases, including budget oversight and problem resolution
  • Lead pre-event and post-event meetings, ensuring effective communication of group needs and feedback
  • Upsell products and services during the event process while acting as a liaison between sales and customers
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in event management, or a 2-year degree in a related field with no work experience required
  • Proven ability to manage revenue and profitability associated with events
  • Experience in conducting customer site inspections and assisting with the sales process
  • Strong organizational skills to manage group room blocks and meeting space
  • Ability to interact effectively with guests and handle feedback and complaints
