California Licensed Senior IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure modernization program, a California Licensed Senior IT Systems Engineer will design, implement, and maintain Microsoft infrastructure services, working remotely on a contract basis while collaborating across IT disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and Teams
• Administer hybrid and on-premises Microsoft Exchange environments and manage Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment and endpoint administration
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex infrastructure issues and mentor junior engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies
• Extensive experience supporting Microsoft 365 and administering hybrid and on-premises Microsoft Exchange environments
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Active Directory
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and systems management
