California Licensed Senior Labor Counsel
Job Summary
Providing strategic legal counsel, the full-time California Licensed Senior Labor Counsel will advise KP leadership on complex employment law issues, collaborate on cross-functional legal matters, and manage legal risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents and provide expert guidance to clients and legal professionals
- Conduct and manage complex legal research and analysis, synthesizing findings for senior business stakeholders
- Formulate legal strategies and collaborate with stakeholders to address regulatory actions and mitigate legal risks
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where KP does business
