Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Labor Counsel will advise leadership on regulatory compliance, manage legal risks, and collaborate with HR on policy development and training initiatives in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work of junior legal professionals
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze case law to inform business strategies and decisions
- Develop and implement legal strategies to address regulatory risks and guide senior stakeholders on critical legal matters
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
