Job Summary
Managing prior authorization requests and pharmacy benefits, the full-time remote California Licensed Senior Pharmacy Technician will independently resolve claims and eligibility inquiries while serving as a technical resource for team members.
Key responsibilities
- Independently review and resolve prior authorization requests using clinical criteria and established guidelines
- Communicate coverage determinations and educate providers and members on claims processes and reimbursement guidelines
- Identify workflow gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- 2 years of work experience as a pharmacy technician
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in California
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy workflows and reimbursement processes
- Proficiency in pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office applications
