Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Product Counsel - Payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive product strategy and innovation by partnering with business teams and fintech partners
• Own regulatory architecture by building frameworks for existing and new products
• Lead subject matter expertise on legal and regulatory requirements impacting payments products

Required Qualifications

• Currently licensed in a U.S. state, J.D. or equivalent, with 7-15+ years of legal experience
• Deep expertise in banking infrastructure and embedded finance solutions, particularly in payments
• Comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory framework governing banking partnerships and fintech services
• Familiarity with NACHA rules, card network regulations, and BSA/AML requirements
• Experience advising on payment processing agreements and funds-flow structures
