California Licensed Senior Software Manager

Job Summary

Leading a critical team within the Legal & Privacy engineering organization, the full-time California Licensed Senior Software Manager will oversee the development of compliance automation, risk controls, and regulatory technology platforms, ensuring alignment with global regulatory requirements while managing a remote engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software and quality engineers to deliver compliance automation, AI solutions, and risk controls
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable technical solutions and manage the engineering roadmap
• Serve as the senior technical voice for compliance and risk engineering, communicating effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 4+ years in engineering management or senior technical leadership
• 5+ years of experience leading machine learning and automation solutions
• Demonstrated experience delivering compliance, regulatory, risk, or governance technology in a large enterprise environment
• Working knowledge of major privacy and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
