Job Summary
Supporting day-to-day accounting operations, the part-time California Licensed Senior Staff Accountant will manage journal entries, assist with month-end and year-end close activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting while working primarily remotely with occasional in-office requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Lead assigned areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial results and provide explanations for significant fluctuations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- CPA certification or CPA candidate preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
