California Licensed Senior Trial Attorney

Job Summary

Representing clients in various civil litigation matters, the full-time California Licensed Senior Trial Attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution, providing counsel to business clients and collaborating with legal teams in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Defend insured individuals and Allstate in bodily injury, property damage, and insurance defense litigation matters
• Conduct hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions while preparing pre- and post-trial motions
• Monitor new laws and regulations, providing proactive legal advice to business units and collaborating with the Law and Regulation department

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
• 4+ years of proven litigation experience, with strong skills in case strategy development and legal research
• First or second chair jury trial experience preferred
• Proven experience with insurance defense preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research; familiarity with LexisNexis is preferred
