Job Summary

A company is looking for a SIU Desk Investigator in the San Diego Metro, CA area.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate questionable claims activity to protect the organization and its members from fraud
• Collect evidence through interviews and searches of various resources, and prepare comprehensive investigative reports
• Develop fraud prevention strategies and maintain relationships with law enforcement and industry contacts

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
• 2 years of claims adjusting or P&C SIU/Fraud Investigation experience, or 4 years of relevant investigative experience
• Proven investigatory skills and experience in obtaining statements from various parties
• Familiarity with city, state, and local regulations related to insurance fraud
• Ability to use computers and software for data analysis and evidence gathering
