Job Summary

A company is looking for a SIU Investigator in the Los Angeles Metro, CA area.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate questionable claims to identify potential fraud in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Collect evidence through interviews and database searches, and prepare detailed investigative reports
• Develop fraud prevention strategies and maintain relationships with industry and law enforcement contacts

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
• 2 years of claims adjusting or P&C SIU/Fraud Investigation experience, or 4 years of relevant investigative experience
• Proven investigatory skills and experience in obtaining statements from witnesses and suspects
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations related to insurance fraud
• Familiarity with data analysis software and evidence gathering techniques
