Job Summary
To support the Veteran community, a full-time California Licensed Sleep Medicine Physician will manage comprehensive sleep disorders, perform direct patient care, and document interactions in a remote setting while adhering to a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive sleep disorders and related medical conditions
- Perform direct patient care, including new patient visits and follow-ups
- Document patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) within mandated timeframes
Required qualifications
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or territory
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties
