Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth initiative, the contract California Licensed Sleep Medicine Provider will manage a clinical panel of patients with sleep disorders, conducting evaluations and collaborating with headache specialists while working remotely on a flexible schedule of 8 to 30 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct independent telehealth visits for the evaluation and ongoing management of sleep disorders
- Order and interpret home sleep apnea tests while managing PAP therapy initiation and adherence
- Collaborate with headache specialists to coordinate care for patients with comorbid migraine
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted California license as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or PMHNP) or Physician Assistant, with active DEA registration
- 2+ years of experience in sleep medicine or strong exposure in related fields such as pulmonology or neurology
- Comfort navigating home sleep testing workflows and managing insomnia care
- Experience with telehealth and building rapport with patients through virtual care
- Ability to adapt to early-stage startup environments and evolving clinical workflows
